ASTM D4329 UV Weathering Accelerated Ageing Test Chamber – BONAD Climate test chamber
Working principle of test chamber:
- Simulated UV: Fluorescent UV lamps are installed inside the UV test chamber to simulate the UV radiation in natural sunlight. These lamps mainly produce short-wave UV, which has a greater impact on material aging, but produce little visible light or infrared spectrum energy.
- Temperature control: The test chamber controls the temperature to accelerate the aging process. Increased temperature can accelerate the aging of materials, and temperature control is essential for the reproducibility of experiments.
- Humid condensation environment: The test chamber simulates the outdoor humid environment through the condensation function, especially the erosion of dew on materials. By generating hot steam in the test chamber, the condensation phenomenon caused by temperature differences in the natural environment is simulated.
- Spray system: The water spray system is used to simulate the impact of rain erosion on materials, which helps to evaluate the thermal shock or mechanical erosion that the material may encounter in actual use.
