Standard:

This scratching tool tip complies with the IEC 60335-2-24 standard, which pertains to household and similar electrical appliances. The standard specifies safety requirements for refrigeration appliances, ice cream appliances, and ice machines, as detailed in Figure 102.

Application:

The K10 scratching tool tip is versatile and can be used for a variety of household appliances with accessible cooling system components. It ensures that these components meet safety and durability standards by performing precise scratch tests.

The scratch tool tip uses the following parameters:

1. Apply a force of 35 N ± 3 N perpendicular to the surface to be tested;

2. The force parallel to the surface to be tested does not exceed 250 N.

3. The tool is dragged on the surface to be tested at a speed of approximately 1 mm/s.

4. The surface to be tested is scratched at three different positions in a direction perpendicular to the axis of the groove and at three different positions on the groove in a direction parallel to the axis of the groove. In the latter case, the scratch length should be about 50 mm.

5. The scratches should not cross each other.

6. The corresponding parts of the apparatus should be able to withstand the test of 22.7, and the test pressure should be reduced by 50%.
