Packaging Carton Compression Testing Machine – Fully Automatic Compression Testing Machine
The carton compression testing machine has high precision, automated testing equipment, easy operation, stable and reliable performance (built-in carton safety compression strength calculation formula and stacking total mass calculation formula, convenient for users to calculate the comprehensive performance of cartons).
Why do we need to test the compressive strength of cartons?
The purpose of the carton compression strength test is to test the pressure resistance of the packaging carton and the ability of the packaging to protect the contents. Usually, the pressure of the carton in the circulation process is simulated in the laboratory. This is to prevent the deformation and damage of the product during use, handling, stacking, storage and transportation due to insufficient strength of various packaging bodies. Stacking tests can also be performed, and the test results can be used as an important reference for the height of the finished product packaging boxes stacked in the factory.
Working principle of carton compression testing machine:
The working principle of the carton compression tester is based on the principle of mechanics. It tests the compression performance of cartons by simulating the pressure conditions during actual stacking and transportation. During the test, the carton to be tested is placed on the test platform of the tester, and gradually increasing pressure is applied through the hydraulic system or mechanical device until the carton reaches the breaking point. During the test, the tester will record the pressure data and the deformation of the carton in real time, so as to obtain key indicators such as the compressive strength and compressive deformation of the carton.
The carton compression test machine has three working modes:
- Strength test: can measure the maximum pressure and displacement of the box;
- Fixed value test: detect the overall performance of the box according to the set pressure and displacement;
- Stacking test: according to the requirements of national standards, stacking tests can be carried out under different conditions such as 12 hours and 24 hours.
