Working Principle of Salt Spray Test Chamber:
- Salt spray generation: A salt spray test chamber is usually equipped with a salt solution supply system. The commonly used salt solution is sodium chloride solution, which forms chlorine and hydrogen by electrolytic decomposition. Chlorine and hydrogen further react to produce salt spray, which is blown onto the specimen by a fan.
- Salt spray uniformity: A fan is installed inside the salt spray test chamber, which blows the generated salt spray onto the specimen evenly through a circulating fan to ensure that the surface of the specimen is evenly corroded by salt spray.
- Temperature control: The salt spray test chamber can usually control the temperature of the specimen. Temperature control can be achieved through a heater and a cooling device, so that the specimen can be subjected to salt spray corrosion tests under different temperature conditions.
- Salt spray removal: An exhaust device is installed in the salt spray test chamber to remove the gas and steam generated on the specimen. This can maintain the stability of the internal environment of the salt spray test chamber and avoid interference with the specimen.
